Heatwave: Kashmir Schools to Suspend Primary Classes on July 29 and 30

Srinagar, Jul 28 (KNO): Due to the ongoing heatwave, the Kashmir division administration has announced the suspension of classwork for primary-level students in both government and private schools on July 29 and 30.
The directive, issued by Divisional Commissioner V K Bidhuri, clarifies that while students will not attend classes, teaching and non-teaching staff are required to continue their duties as usual.
The order from Bidhuri states, “Given the current heatwave conditions in the valley, classwork for primary-level students in all government and recognized private schools will be suspended on July 29 and 30, 2024.”
All teaching and non-teaching staff are expected to report to work as per their regular schedule. —(KNO)
