Srinagar police have apprehended two individuals in connection with an assault involving a cricket bat in the Madankha area of Nowgam. According to police, the victim, who is currently receiving treatment at SMHS hospital, survived the attack. An investigation is underway, and authorities are working to locate additional suspects. An FIR (No. 74/2024) has been filed at the Nowgam police station, with charges including sections 191(2), 191(3), 126(2), 131, and 109 BNS.
