Srinagar, Oct 28 (KNO): The Director of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has proposed new school timings for the Kashmir division, effective November 1.
As reported by Kashmir News Observer (KNO), DSEK submitted the proposal to the Principal Secretary of the School Education Department, citing a drop in temperatures and following previous practices.
Under the proposal, schools within the Srinagar municipal limits would operate from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm for both government and private institutions. For schools located outside these limits and in other areas of the Kashmir province, the suggested timings are from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm.
The proposal requests that necessary instructions and orders be issued regarding these changes.
