This new service, which includes Vande Bharat and Mail/Express trains, is set to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 6. The trains are expected to begin operations around January 26, in time for Republic Day celebrations.

Train Timings:

Vande Bharat Express:

Departs Katra (SVDK): 8:10 a.m.

Arrives in Srinagar: 11:20 a.m.

Mail/Express (Morning):

Departs Katra: 9:50 a.m.

Arrives in Srinagar: 1:10 p.m.

Mail/Express (Afternoon):

Departs Katra: 3:00 p.m.

Arrives in Srinagar: 6:20 p.m.

This new train service is set to revolutionize travel between Jammu and Kashmir, drastically reducing travel time and providing passengers with a comfortable journey through the picturesque landscapes of the region.
