Stray Dog Attack in Budgam Leaves 15 Injured, One Hospitalized in Srinagar
In a shocking incident in the old Budgam town of Central Kashmir, at least 15 individuals were injured by stray dogs on Monday morning. Eyewitnesses reported that the dogs suddenly appeared and launched an attack on people, causing widespread panic among locals.
The injured victims were promptly taken to the Budgam District Hospital for treatment. However, one person with serious injuries was transferred to the SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for further medical care.
A doctor at the Budgam hospital confirmed that one of the victims was in critical condition and needed to be referred to the Srinagar facility.
In the wake of the attack, residents have called for urgent action to tackle the growing problem of stray dogs in the area. [KNT]
