Srinagar, March 8 – The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has announced that schools will conduct the External Practical Examination for Higher Secondary Part-I (Class 11th) for the Annual (Regular) Session 2025. This decision applies to both Soft Zone and Hard Zone areas across Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

According to an official notification accessed by Prism Post (PP), the practical exams will take place after the conclusion of the theory examinations. Schools are required to conduct these exams based on the revised syllabus and course of study specified in notification No: F(Acad-C) Rev-New/Tbs./23, dated May 27, 2023.

JKBOSE has instructed school heads to submit the practical exam results to the Joint Secretary, Secrecy JD/KD, and the respective sub/branch offices within ten days of completion. This step aims to ensure timely result processing and adherence to the academic calendar.

The move is intended to simplify the examination process, giving schools more autonomy in organizing practical exams while maintaining efficiency and flexibility for students and institutions.

JKBOSE has emphasized that all schools and authorities must strictly follow the prescribed guidelines and deadlines to ensure smooth and systematic conduct of the exams.
