Primary Classes Exempted from Online Classes: School Education Department Issues Clarification
Online Classes Only for Grades 6 to 12 as per Notified Schedule

Srinagar, July 7 (JKNS): The School Education Department has issued a clarification stating that online classes will be conducted exclusively for students of Classes 6 and above, while children from Classes 1 to 5 will not be required to attend online sessions.
According to the official circular, schools located within municipal areas will function from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Meanwhile, schools in areas outside municipal limits will operate from 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
For students from Classes 6 to 12, online classes (Blended Learning Mode) will be organised after regular school timings. In municipal areas, these sessions will take place from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, whereas in non-municipal areas, they will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
The order further emphasised that primary grade students (Classes 1 to 5) are exempted from attending any online classes. The department has instructed all schools to adhere strictly to these guidelines without any deviation. (JKNS)
