JKBOSE Class 10 Result Expected in Early January; Class 12 & 11 to Follow Later in the Month

Srinagar, Dec 19: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is preparing to announce the Annual Regular-2025 results for Class 10 in the first week of January, according to JKBOSE Secretary Ghulam Hassan Sheikh.

The Class 12 results are expected around the third week of January, while the Class 11 results are likely to be declared by the end of the month. The Secretary said the Board aims to release results for all three classes within January.

“We are optimistic about declaring the Class 10 results in the first week of January, followed by Class 12 results roughly ten days later. Class 11 results will be announced by the end of January,” Sheikh stated.

He added that Class 12 examinations concluded on December 9 and Class 11 on December 13, while Class 10 exams wrapped up in the last week of November. After theory papers, students appear in external practical exams, and additional time is required to compile award sheets, especially for vocational subjects due to their separate evaluation process.

“The timeline is being strictly followed. I am personally monitoring the progress, and the concerned staff are working diligently to meet the announced schedule,” the Secretary said.

This year, the Annual Regular-2025 examinations for Classes 10 to 12 began in November. As reported earlier, JKBOSE granted a 15% relaxation to students of Classes 10, 11, and 12 considering academic disruptions during the session.

Official figures show that 94,783 students registered for the Class 10 examination, including 68,804 from Kashmir, 25,224 from winter zone areas of Jammu, 660 from Kargil, and 95 from Leh. For Class 11, around 81,622 students registered, while 70,117 students enrolled for the Class 12 examination across Kashmir and winter zone areas of Jammu.
