Damaged Tables Cause Inconvenience for Class 10 Students at Two Srinagar Exam Centres
News By Mir Sakib
Srinagar, October 20: Students appearing in the JKBOSE Class 10 Annual Regular Mathematics examination on Monday reportedly faced difficulties at two examination centres in Srinagar due to damaged and poorly maintained furniture.
The affected centres were identified as Linton Hall School in Rajbagh and Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Chanapora, where students complained that broken tables disrupted their ability to write their answers comfortably.
According to the students, some tables were in such a poor condition that wooden parts repeatedly came loose and fell during the examination. These interruptions reportedly affected their concentration and created additional difficulties while attempting the question paper.
Students expressed concern that inadequate furniture could create similar problems during the remaining examinations if the issue was not addressed promptly. They urged the concerned authorities to inspect both centres and take immediate corrective measures.
With the Class 10 board examinations underway, students have called for the repair or replacement of damaged tables to ensure a comfortable and uninterrupted examination environment for all candidates in the upcoming papers.
