The government has decided to declare a 10-day summer vacation for schools across the Kashmir Valley beginning on July 8th, according to a senior official.
"Schools will have a 10-day summer vacation starting from July 8th," stated Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary to the Government, School Education, in an interview with Daily Spark News.
Kumar mentioned that the timing of the vacation aligns with the Meteorological Department's forecast of rainfall until July 7th.
It's noteworthy that despite a rise in daytime temperatures over the past week, the Meteorological Department predicts wet weather conditions up to July 7th. (Daily Spark News)
