Jammu and Kashmir's Education Minister, Sakina Itoo, has issued a warning to private schools that are violating government regulations, particularly regarding the collection of capitation fees. She stated that the government will take strict action against any school found guilty of breaching these norms.
Itoo emphasized that anyone facing issues with admissions or capitation charges should provide proper evidence to the relevant authorities, and assured that the government will ensure accountability and take appropriate steps against the violators. Speaking to reporters in Srinagar, she also mentioned that the academic session had been adjusted and that a new session would begin soon, with the winter vacation to be announced shortly.
