Director GN Itoo: No Decision Yet on Extending School Summer Holidays

Srinagar, July 4: Director of School Education Kashmir, GN Itoo, has said that the department has not yet taken any decision regarding the extension of summer vacations in schools. He advised people not to pay heed to the rumours spreading on social media.
“With three days still left for schools to reopen, we have not issued any official order so far. At this moment, nothing can be confirmed,” Itoo stated.
He further said that any decision will be made after reviewing the situation. “If there is any update, it will be communicated to the public through proper official channels,” he added.
As of now, summer vacations in Kashmir schools are slated to end on July 7.
