Schools Shut in Poonch & Rajouri Amid Adverse Weather

Poonch/Rajouri, July 30 (JKNS): In response to ongoing harsh weather conditions, all government and private schools in the Poonch and Rajouri districts have been ordered to remain closed on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.
In Poonch, the Chief Education Officer informed JKNS that the decision to suspend classes in all institutions—both government and private—was made as a safety precaution due to the prevailing weather.
Similarly, in Rajouri, the Deputy Commissioner issued directives for the shutdown, following which the Chief Education Officer released a circular confirming the closure of all schools in the district for the day. (JKNS)
