Class Work in Degree Colleges Suspended Till Sept 6

Srinagar, Sep 04 (KNO): The J&K Higher Education Department on Wednesday announced suspension of class work in all Government Degree Colleges and GCETs across the Union Territory till September 6.
An official communication issued by the Director Colleges stated that due to the prevailing weather situation and as a precautionary step for the safety of students, colleges shall remain closed till the mentioned date.
Meanwhile, the School Education Department has also clarified that in view of recent heavy rains, flood-like conditions, and damage to several school buildings, teaching in government and private schools of Kashmir Division will now resume from Monday. —(KNO)
