Srinagar, Jan 01 (KNO): Education Minister Sakina Itoo on Thursday said that the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is expected to declare the Annual Regular 2025 Class 10th examination results in the second week of January.

In a statement to Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Itoo said that the Class 10 results are most likely to be announced first, followed by the declaration of Class 11th and Class 12th results shortly thereafter.

She added that the board has finalized the sequence of result declarations, with priority being given to Class 10 students before releasing results of the higher classes.

It is noteworthy that over 94,000 students appeared in the Class 10 Annual Regular examinations, which began on November 3 across the Kashmir division. For smooth conduct of exams, 994 examination centers were established throughout the region.

According to JKBOSE, 68,804 candidates belonged to the ten districts of Kashmir division, while 25,224 students appeared from the eight winter-zone districts of Jammu division. Additionally, 660 students from Kargil and 95 from Leh were also registered for the examinations.

Earlier, the BOSE Secretary had stated that around 95,000 students were enrolled for the Class 10 exams, with adequate examination centers arranged across Jammu and Kashmir.
