Sakib Jkbose
Srinagar, Jan 12: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) will announce the results of Class 10th and 12th examinations on January 14, 2026 (Wednesday), Education Minister Sakina Itoo confirmed.
Speaking exclusively to Greater Kashmir, the minister said the government has decided to declare the results of both classes on the same day in view of the long wait by students. “Students have been eagerly awaiting their results, so we decided to release the results of Class 10th and 12th together on Wednesday,” she said.
Sakina Itoo added that the Result Declaration Committee (RDC) meeting will be convened by the Secretary JKBOSE, with participation from the Directors of School Education of Kashmir and Jammu divisions, along with joint secretaries. “This time, the results will receive administrative approval without the chairman’s approval,” she explained.
The decision comes amid the continued vacancy of the JKBOSE chairman’s post, which has remained unfilled for nearly a year. The minister assured that a permanent chairman will be appointed after the declaration of results.
Meanwhile, a JKBOSE official stated that the Class 10th results will be announced in the morning hours, followed by the Class 12th results later in the afternoon on the same day.
