Summer Vacation Announced for Kashmir Schools from July 6 to 19

Srinagar, June 30: The Jammu and Kashmir government has approved summer vacations for all schools across Kashmir from July 6 to July 19, 2026.
Director School Education Kashmir, , confirmed that the proposal submitted by the Directorate has received approval from the Administrative Department and that a formal order will be issued shortly.
“The proposal has been cleared by the Administrative Department, and the official notification will follow,” Wani said.
Earlier, Education Minister had indicated that summer vacations were likely to begin in the second week of July, though the dates had not been finalized at that time.
