Govt Extends Summer Vacation in Kashmir, Winter Zones of Jammu Till July 26

Srinagar, July 21: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has extended the summer vacation for all government and recognized private schools in the Kashmir Division and Winter Zones of the Jammu Division until July 26, 2026.
School Education Minister Sakina Itoo announced that schools will now reopen on Monday, July 27, 2026.
Sharing the update, the minister said the decision was taken with the safety and well-being of students, teachers, and their families as the top priority. She also appealed to the public to remain alert, stay safe, and follow all advisories issued by the concerned authorities.
