Srinagar, Nov 9: The Director of School Education Kashmir (DSEK), Dr. Tasaduk Hussain, announced that the annual exams for students in Classes 1 to 9 will likely be held between November 15 and December 15. This proposed schedule is part of the department's efforts to maintain a uniform exam timeline across schools.
Dr. Hussain reassured parents and students, emphasizing that these will be school-based exams and that teachers are well aware of the syllabus completion status. According to him, most schools have already finished around 90% of the syllabus.
Additionally, the Director mentioned that notifications for new classes would be issued by December 20, marking the transition for students into the next grade.
This decision follows the J&K government's move to restore the traditional November-December exam schedule for schools.
