Change in School Schedule Across Jammu Division from October

Jammu, Sept 30: The Directorate of School Education Jammu has revised the functioning hours for both government and private schools in the division.

As per the order, schools in the Summer Zone will run from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM in October, and from November, the timings will change to 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Meanwhile, schools under Jammu Municipal Corporation limits and adjoining urban areas will continue with the 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM routine.

In the Winter Zone, new timings of 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM will take effect from October 1. The department has cautioned that any violation of these directives will invite strict action.
